Dynasty IDP Trade Value Guide

TradeGauge does not currently ingest a validated IDP dataset, so it will not attach fake precision to defenders. Use these scarcity rules for the IDP side and the calculator below only for the offensive assets in the deal.

LB — the IDP blue-chips

Every-down linebackers with 100+ tackle floors are the scarcest, most stable IDP assets. In trades, price an elite LB like a mid-tier WR2.

EDGE — boom-bust premiums

Sack-dependent scoring makes edge rushers volatile — treat top-5 edges like low-end TE1s and be suspicious of one-year sack spikes.

DB — mostly throw-ins

Tackle-heavy safeties have streaming replacements every season. Outside a handful of elite box safeties, DBs shouldn't headline a trade.

      Frequently asked questions

Does TradeGauge have IDP player values?
Not yet — honest answer. Reliable market-based IDP values are rare because IDP trade volume is thin. The calculator on this page prices the offensive side of your trades today; leave your email and we'll notify you the moment IDP values land.
How should I value IDP players in trades meanwhile?
Use positional scarcity: every-down linebackers with tackle floors are the IDP equivalent of RB1s and hold the most trade value; edge rushers are boom-bust like TEs; defensive backs are mostly replaceable streamers. In mixed trades, price elite LBs like mid WR2s, top edges like low-end TE1s, and most DBs as throw-ins.
Can I still analyze the offensive side of an IDP trade?
Yes — most IDP-league trades are mostly offensive players plus an IDP piece or two. Run the offensive assets through the calculator below to anchor the deal, then apply the scarcity rules above to the IDP pieces.
