The public TradeGauge calculator does not require an account. If you choose to create a web account, this policy also explains the data used to sync your web experience.
A web account stores your email address, display name, password hash, recovery-code hash, active sessions, connected Sleeper username and selected league, saved trades, and watchlist in Cloudflare D1. Passwords and recovery codes are not stored in readable form. The iPhone app continues to store its trade database locally unless a specific sync feature says otherwise.
Player and rookie-pick trade values are fetched from Dynasty Dealer's public API (dynastydealer.com), an anonymous GET request that includes no information about you. Values are cached so the app and website can provide a stable market snapshot.
If you choose to connect Sleeper, the username you enter is sent to Sleeper's public, read-only API. Sleeper returns public league and roster information. For signed-in web users, TradeGauge stores the Sleeper user identifier, username, league list, selected league, and last sync time so the dashboard can be restored. TradeGauge never asks for your Sleeper password and cannot change your league.
In the iPhone app, you can also choose to sign in with ESPN. You sign in on ESPN's own page; TradeGauge never sees your ESPN password. The app keeps the resulting ESPN session in that device's Keychain so you don't have to sign in again, uses it only to read your ESPN leagues directly from ESPN, and never sends it to a TradeGauge server. The selected league and roster snapshot are stored locally on the device. Sign out of ESPN on the app's import screen to delete the session.
We use PostHog product analytics and session replay to understand usage and purchase-funnel performance. The website may record replay frames that include text and images rendered in the browser, including player names, league details, and trade inputs. The iOS app uses separate sampling and masking controls. We do not sell this data or use it for cross-app advertising.
A signed-in web watchlist is stored with your TradeGauge account so it is available on another browser. On-device iPhone alerts and locally watched players remain on that device unless the app explicitly offers account sync.
App Store payments are processed by Apple. Web payments are processed by Polar as merchant of record and connected to your TradeGauge account and RevenueCat entitlement. Polar processes the billing email, transaction, subscription, and tax data needed to complete and manage the purchase. Openverse does not receive full card details.
You can permanently delete a web account and its saved TradeGauge data from Account & Billing. Account deletion does not itself cancel a Polar or App Store subscription; use the billing provider's subscription controls as well. You can delete local iPhone data by deleting the app. Security records and transaction records may be retained where needed for fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
