Frequently asked questions

Is TradeGauge a good KeepTradeCut alternative?
If you want a fast, clean calculator with market-based values, shareable trade links, and value alerts, yes. If you specifically want crowdsourced values and the "would you rather" voting game, KTC remains the reference for that approach — the two are honest complements.
Why do TradeGauge and KeepTradeCut values disagree sometimes?
Different sources: KTC values are votes about perception; TradeGauge values track what the market pays in actual trades. When they disagree, the gap itself is information — perception hasn't caught up to the market (or vice versa), which is exactly where good trades live.
Which calculator should I trust for my trade?
Run the trade through more than one — it takes seconds. If every calculator calls it a win, accept with confidence. If they split, the trade is close enough that roster fit and your contention window should decide.
Is FantasyCalc's approach different?
FantasyCalc computes values from real league trades, which is philosophically closest to what TradeGauge uses (Dynasty Dealer market data). The main differences are the interface, shareable links, and TradeGauge's alerts.
